Well, here in our little corner of Footscray, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, the world, we’re as keen as you are to leave our kids a beautiful planet. That’s why we’re very keen on our digital print processes.
Digital printing is a clean print production process that doesn’t use or create harsh chemicals or waste that requires specialised disposal. Basically it’s an extremely efficient method of transferring ink to paper.
We like to make sure that our state of the art equipment receives regular servicing and preventative maintenance to maintain peak print efficiency at all times. DOC’s staff are trained to get the very best efficiency from our machinery, which reduces errors, waste and environmental impact. Printer consumables and replaceable parts are sent for reuse, recycling and refurbishment.
We encourage you to print just as many copies as you actually need which means you won’t be left with documents that go to waste. Digital print lets you update and reprint as needed without incurring extra costs.
We’ll also advise you on the most efficient methods to produce your projects including pre-production and preparation. That means that together with careful layout and imposition methods, we reduce potential paper waste and save you money.
Where possible we reuse the cartons in which paper is delivered to the plant. Boxes are re-labelled and used for deliveries to clients. Damaged boxes, along with unusable paper offcuts, wrappers, etc are sorted and placed in recycling bins for weekly collection.
We’re very happy to provide paper off-cuts, small cardboard packaging and obsolete stock suitable for creative art and craft activities to local schools, kindergartens and Scout groups.
Documents On Call work hard to keep up to date with and seek out new recycled paper products to offer our clients. Our machines produce excellent quality prints on recycled paper and card stock.
